Tell me, Tumblr, what exactly does checking this box do for me? Because I thought it communicated to you that
and that
the risks involved with continuing its use. You’ve made it clear to me, I’ve considered your points, and I’ve made it clear to you that I have decided to keep Missing E anyway.
But for some reason you aren’t getting the message. For some reason, you are making me re-tell you this every time I log in, as if you anticipate I will change my mind. So, let me make it really clear to you.
Post made of win
zuky:
Wayne Burwell, a respected 34-year-old physical fitness trainer and a black resident of a 97% white area in Vermont, suffers from a blood-sugar-related medical condition which caused him to black out in his own home, apparently triggering a call to the police for a suspected burglary in progress. Two white police officers arrived at the scene, pepper sprayed him, beat him with a nightclub, handcuffed him, and dragged him naked out the door in front of his neighbors. His neighbors tried to tell the police that he was the homeowner and that he has a medical condition, but the police threatened to arrest the neighbors for interfering with police work. Burwell was questioned sitting on the ground outside his home, handcuffed so tight that he needed two stitches on his left wrist. Eventually paramedics arrived, recognized him, and treated him. Vermont State Police says they are investigating the incident. (via resist racism)
This makes me sick.
“Investigating”. They’ll get leave with pay during the investigation, then will come back to the job after a good, long, tax-payer funded vacation and no real consequences. Protect and serve my ass.
